Penned by Pulitzer Prize finalist Adam Rapp (Red Light Winter), The Sound Inside takes you behind the ivy-covered walls of Yale, and into New York’s literary haven, Greenwich Village, in this riveting new American play.

KAL AND DIJA SAVE THE WORLD is an investigation of third culture kids, freeze tag, adding MENA to the U.S. Census, acrylic vs gel nails and space travel. A new play developed through a series of community-based investigations in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, the project explores one of the most ethnically diverse immigrant communities in America and aims to illuminate how a neighborhood becomes part of one’s identity. When Zaynab Tabreez emigrated from Cairo to Kentucky with her mom she had trouble fitting in. Two years later, Zaynab is still struggling to make friends, so when she gets invited to her first ever slumber party, anything feels possible! There’s only one problem: it’s the last ten days of Ramadan, one of which will be the holiest nights of the year. When her mom says no to the party, Zaynab is so upset she hides in her closet to cry.  Her tears unlock a doorway into the Sahara desert where, ready or not, she begins the quest of a lifetime. 

Zaynab’s Night of Destiny is a magical journey of perseverance and self-discovery featuring a young Muslim girl living in Louisville, Kentucky. Can Zaynab face her greatest fear and finally discover where she belongs?

As Heba and Haroon return to their childhood home in Fremont to bury a man they hardly knew, they face an uprising of secrets and lies in a struggle for truth. Audio Drama Commissioned by Audible

Coming in 2022 

A ten-part audio drama series on the life of Egypt’s first Female King. Hatshepsut climbs the ranks of the royal court of Egypt. Through her wit, battlefield accomplishments, and manipulation of gender roles, she rises to power, becoming the first female Pharaoh, ruler of the greatest empire in the ancient world.
